Wayne Arnett and his brother Mark Arnett formed the law firm of Arnett & Arnett on July 1, 1990. Prior to joining forces, Wayne Arnett practiced law for 15 years in the Tempe law firm Patton, Montague & Arnett. Mark Arnett started his career in 1987, when he went to work for the law firm of O’Connor, Cavanagh, Anderson, Westover, Killingsworth & Beshears. A year later, Mark left the firm and started his own practice in Mesa, Arizona. After two years in private practice, Wayne left Patton, Montague & Arnett and joined Mark. Together they formed the law firm of Arnett & Arnett.
Prior to the formation of the law firm, both Wayne and Mark had extensive experience in suing insurance companies for cheating their insureds. From the inception of Arnett & Arnett, the firm has limited its practice to these types of insurance bad faith cases. Wayne and Mark have played a part in the development of bad faith and punitive damage law in Arizona. Both have served as counsel in numerous appellate cases.
